What is 80 Hours for 80 Years

In 1941, Queen’s Hillel was founded as the first Hillel in Canada and for 8 decades we have created vibrant Jewish experiences for generations of Jewish students in Kingston.

We’re celebrating 80 years of Hillel’s activities with a fundraiser to secure our program budget for next year.

80 Hours for 80 Years is a challenge, an opportunity for us to honour the legacy of generations of Jewish ‘Gael’s’ by ensuring that Hillel continues to go from strength to strength.

Queen’s Hillel students are coming together to raise money for our Hillel so that we are able to create meaningful opportunities for connection and community.

Imagine if we could…

… bring back Hillel shabbat dinners

Get coffee for even more students

… host alumni networking events

…  Make better Hillel Swag

Run bigger educational campaigns

…  Host a Shabbaton

Help us reach
our goal!

What’s more?! Every gift will be matched one-to-one up to $10,000 so that you can double your impact!

Let’s make Queen’s Hillel’s 81st year our best one yet!
