Dan went to York University for his undergraduate and law degree, where he spent three years with Hillel. During this time, Dan actively participated in leadership roles with the Jewski initiative, the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs, and other on-campus initiatives. Recently, Dan started his own legal practice where he focuses on assisting clients with construction, real estate, and bankruptcy law issues. He has spearheaded many academic initiatives, including authorship of legal blogs and articles, presenting at various professional development lectures, and acting as a content-producer/course-designer at the Credit Institute of Canada. In his limited spare time, Dan loves to perform at (now virtual) Open-Mics with his guitar, cook a creative variety of meals, and mentor high school and university students. He is also heavily involved in the Russian-speaking Jewish community.
