Hillel Ontario joined together on Tuesday, April 28th, for an online event commemorating Yom HaZikaron and celebrating Yom HaAtzmaut entitled Reflecting on 72 Years: A Night of Music, Celebration, and Unity. Students from across the province offered personal thoughts and reflections, as well as performed through spoken word and music.

Each component highlighted different themes related to Yom HaZikaron and Yom HaAtzmaut and also addressed the tenuous dichotomy of mourning and celebration that frames this time in the Jewish calendar.
