Jewish Life on Campus

Welcome to Guelph Hillel, your Jewish home away from home! We provide unique opportunities for students to explore their own Jewish identity in a variety of ways. Guelph Hillel offers programs created by students for students to engage them in the most meaningful experiences. Whether your interests lie in Jewish Life and Education, Tzedek and Social Action, Arts and Culture, Athletics, Israel, Leadership Development or anything in between, opportunities for involvement exist through Guelph Hillel.

We have monthly Shabbat dinners, bi-weekly bagel lunches, a sukkah at our Hillel house, discussion groups relating to current events, holiday themed programs and more!

Chicken Soup Hotline

Feel sick? We have you covered! Just send a message to our Chicken Soup Hotline and a serving of chicken soup will be delivered to you!

Big Fish/Little Fish

Are you a first year student? We know it can be intimidating when there are so many new people and places to navigate, classes that seem impossible and walking into any event may seem uncomfortable. Our Big Fish/Little Fish program will match up interested first years with older students in similar programs of study so that they can help alleviate some of the first year jitters and serve as a “big brother/sister” on campus. Email Gila to get connected!

Follow us on Instagram and Facebook or come stop by Gila’s office in Raithby on the second floor to see how to get involved and to hear about upcoming events and happenings.
