Hillel has always been a home away from home for students at McMaster and a key contributor to the growing Hamilton Jewish Community.
This year McMaster Hillel and the students have:
Built an alumni network
Facilitated a Grad & young professional community in Hamilton
Volunteered with many social service agencies to provide much-needed connection & people power for vulnerable populations.
Provided space for students from all backgrounds & identities to be seen and find community
Raise awareness around antisemitism
Supported the growth of Hamilton synagogue life
Educated the next generation of Hamilton Jews at Hebrew Schools, Bnei Mitzvah clubs, and Jewish youth groups
All this work would not be possible without the support of the community McMaster services and those connected to McMaster. This year help us reach our $25,000 goal to ensure next year’s Hillel can continue to thrive!
