Promotes the development of young Jewish leadership through the granting of merit-based scholarships. The Zac Kaye Leadership Fund was established in 2013 in honour of Zac Kaye’s retirement as Executive Director of Hillel of Greater Toronto, following eighteen years of dedicated service. The fund promotes the development of young Jewish leadership by awarding merit-based grants to students and early career professionals to attend programs that will enhance their leadership capabilities back to campus or in the workplace.
Can I Apply?
If you are a university or college aged student from any of Hillel Ontario’s campuses, or if you are a Jewish community professional in your first three years of employment – you can apply!
Is My Program Eligible?
The fund supports a variety of programs such as conferences, seminars, semesters abroad*, certificate programs, travel*, or any application proven to enhance Jewish leadership capabilities of the applicant.
How Do I Apply?

- Upload two (2) references on company letterhead
- Upload your resume
You can apply to the fund anytime during the academic year. Once your application is fully complete, you will be contacted to set up a time for an interview. In person is preferred, however, a remote interview can be coordinated if the applicant is unable to come to Toronto.
*While Masa Israel funded programs are not specifically excluded, applicants will have to demonstrate a financial need beyond Masa Israel funding.
