Wellness Support Specialist

The Wellness Program at Hillel has 3 primary initiatives: (1) development and facilitation of wellness initiatives and psycho educational programming/ groups on campus of (2) identification of students in need of further more specialized support, and referral to appropriate community resources both at Hillel Ontario, and in the greater community (3) engagement and mentorship of Jewish students. By focusing on these three areas, we are better equipped to empower our students around their physical, psychological, social, and spiritual wellness.

Campus location The role will be based at either Hillel Western (London, Ontario) or Hillel McMaster (Hamilton, Ontario). While the position focuses on supporting Jewish students at either campus, the role also aligns with the broader Hillel Ontario wellness initiatives.

Employment Type: Full-time permanent

Israel Volunteer Trip

Following the October 7th attacks, Jews from all over the world joined together to aid Israel in her time of need. During this critical time, we encourage you to join us in expressing solidarity with the people of Israel, right in Israel. Prior or no prior experience in Israel- we especially welcome applicants who want to strengthen their connection to Israel
You will be volunteering 4-6 hours a day. Volunteering will include working in logistical centers, helping farmers, packaging food & clothing for displaced communities, security service, etc.
